Passengers (2016)

Starring: Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Sheen, Lawrence Fishburne
Director: Mortem Tyldum

Premise:
On a 150 year space trip to colony on another planet, a man accidentally wakes up way too soon. He  eventually decides to sabotage a pod and wake up a girl. All the while the spaceship, which is suppose to be able to repair itself, starts to malfunction.

My Take:
An interesting movie which glosses over the truly horrific and moral parts -basically the main character is a stalker and murderer no matter how likeable he might be - and turns it more into a love story with some adventure. The movie works due to the main actors and it's ends up being a typical Hollywood feel good story.

Rating: In the middle

Watched: Netflix DVD
