Director: Drazen Baric

Premise:
Five male friends head to a secluded lake for a weekend of drinking and stupidity. To bad for them the lake is on sacred Indian grounds and may harbor a creature of death.

My Take:
This movie is filled with annoying characters that after five minutes they couldn't die quick enough for me. Plus it's another found footage movie where nothing happens until the last thirty minutes.

Starring: Akasha Villalobos, Brian Villalobos, Danielle Evon Ploeger
Director: Benjamin R. Moody

Premise:
The survivor of a serial killer attach tries to re-adjust to normal life.

My Take:
It's an interesting concept to have a story of "what happens to the final girl after the slaughter". The movie misses the mark and ends up failing into it's own slasher mode.

Yakuza Apocalypse (2015)

Starring: Yayan Ruhian

Premise:
A young yakuza is turned into a vampire and accidentally starts a plague of vampires.

A Cold Nights Death (1973)

Starring: Robert Culp, Eli Wallach
Director: Jerrold Freedman

Premise:
Two scientists head to an Artic research base after there is no communication from the previous team. They find the scientists frozen and the lab apes nearly dead. They stay to continue the research and slowly find out something else may be occurring.

My Take:
A movie that relies heavily on the two actors. It's a pleasure to watch Culp and Wallach chew up each scene. Not bad for a 70s made for television movie.

Premise:
Warriors from across the world battle in the squared circle.

Starring: Meegan Warner, Sondra Blake, Sean Martini
Director: Jeff Prugh

Premise:
A young woman returns home to care for her grandmother who is suffering from dementia. She starts to experience strange visions and sleep walking which digs up old family secrets.

It's hard for me to watch movies dealing with Alzheimer's or dementia as the subject is one I have dealt with personally. The movie uses to the disease as background and cranks it up a notch to something much more sinister.
