Deranged (1974)

Premise:
A man is taking care of his sick mother who has abused him mentally for years on the evil ways of women. Eventually she dies. Grieving and lonely, the man digs up her body to bring home. Then he starts killing women to put his mother back together.

My Take:
While this might have been some what shocking nearly forty years ago, it is very tame by today's standards. The only thing that kept me interested the lead character's performance. 
The movie is based off the serial killer Ed Gein.
