Premise:
Thousands of years after the Asgardians banished a race called The Dark Elves. The race have returned after Jane Foster accidentally finds a wormhole and gets consumed by a force called the Aether and ends up in Asgard.

My Take:
Sort of the usual Marvel movie. It's a entertaining and fun to watch. It's also a critical piece of the puzzle as the Marvel Universe continues to unfold. The great cast and special effects makes the movie fly by.
