Child of God (2014)

Starring: Scott Haze, Tim Blake Nelson, Jim Parrack
Director: James Franco

Premise:
A "slow" man is kicked out of his home and forced to live in the wilderness where he has a series of violent interactions with the townsfolk.

My Take:
An incredible performance by Scott Haze. Some of the subject matter will turn people away, as it stays close to the book, with it's depiction of necrophilia and rape and the main character's moves into increasingly violent acts.

Rating: So Good
