The Green Butchers (2003)

Starring: Mads Mikkleson, Nikolaj Lie Kaas
Director: Anders Thomas Jensen

Premise:
Two small town butchers open up their own shop. In order to fill a large order and by pure coincidence they do so with human flesh. Now they must keep their secret safe.

My Take:
A fun little movie that plays it straight. Superb acting from the cast with Lie Kaas playing dual roles as twins. It hits all the right notes as it's not too gory or dramatic or funny. This is a nice, hidden gem.

Rating: So Good

Watched: Netflix DVD
