Premise:
A family man starts to lose his grip on reality when visiting a popular theme park on vacation.

This is one of the movies that is hard to watch yet it's hard to turn off. It was just weird enough to keep me captivated and annoyed me at the same time.

Game of Thrones, Season 6 (2016)

Premise:
Families throughout the seven kingdoms plot and scheme to being the one true ruler of the land.

My Take:
I must admit, this season stepped it up a notch. The final three episodes are as good as television gets with so many characters dying and new people in positions of power being named. The show seems to be coming down now to two major battles: The North vs the White Walkers and Daenerys taking on the Lassiters for the Iron Throne. Next season should be very interesting.

Shake, Rattle, and Roll X (2008)

Starring: Marian Rivera
Director: Topel Lee, Michael Tuviera

Premise:
Three tales based on Filipino myth and lore.

My Take:
This one is better than most in the series mainly due to the strong and unique tales.  "Nieves" about a woman who battles with the spirits of the forest is probably my favorite as it blends myth, comedy, and drama nearly perfectly. "Class Picture" is a on the edge suspense tale about a group of kids spending the night at their school only to be haunted by the ghost. And "Emergency" is about a group of a hospital under siege from aswangs.
