Premise:

My Take:
The movie keeps things interesting and moving quickly with twist after twist (perhaps a couple too many). It's worth a watch.

Premise:
After a man loses his family in a car accident he discovers his son video camera has the ability to freeze time. He tries to help the other survivor of the car wreck who also lost her husband that day. Slowly the man falls to the new power he possesses and becomes a stalker in his will to help the girl.

My Take:
A decent little flick if you dont think dig too deep into the time freezing stuff involved.

Pet (2016)

Premise:
A man runs into a girl he had a crush on in high school. He tries to get her to notice him, but it doesn't happen. So he kidnaps her and holds her hostage underneath the animal shelter where he works.

My Take:
What at first seems like your typical stalker movie is flipped on it's ear and is far more in depth. Both the leads are great at their characters and there is plenty to keep the viewer guessing. A pleasant surprise indeed.

Premise:
A talk show psychiatrist moves to her child her home after her father dies. She get harassed by the paper boy and soon suspects foul play.

My Take:
I expected much better from the people involved. The movie is just plain boring and uninteresting. It fails on nearly every level.

Sleep Tight (2011)

Premise:
A concierge at an apartment complex spends his nights infatuated with a woman who lives there and stalking around her place while she sleeps.

My Take:
Intense and creepy are the two best words I can think of to describe this outstanding movie. As the time ticks away, layer upon layer is revealed focusing on the disturbing lengths this psycopath goes to be closer to the woman. It's truly frightening and pulled off with excellence by the actors and the director.

The Resident (2011)

Starring: Hillary Swank, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Christopher Lee


Synopsis:
A doctor finds a too good to be apartment for rent. Later realizes her landlord is a bit off his rocker.

My Take:
Kind of the standard stalker story. It's fun to watch Jeffrey Dean Morgan go from smooth charmer to wack-job psycho in an instant, but its not enough to save the movie.
