Premise:

My Take:
This has been the best season of the series in a long while as it combines the characters/stories from Murder House and Coven into a new story about the son of Satan causing the end of the world.

My Take:
A lot of chasing in this final battle to save humanity for the T-Virus and of course the same crazy action the series in known for.

Honestly I was never a big fan of the movie series, but big fan the original games, yet some how I managed to watched them all. Fans of the series will probably enjoy the final installment.

A highly entertaining and smartly written movie which is packed with great visuals. A solid cast, tight direction, and great cinematography are pieces that make the story work.

Premise:
A group of people attempt to escort a man, who may hold the antivirus for a zombie outbreak in his blood, from New York to California.

My Take:
A zombie apocalypse tale which never takes itself too seriously. For those looking for compelling drama and a thought provoking story, well look elsewhere. In this series the viewer gets zombie tornadoes, radiation filled zombies, old west shoot outs, nuclear missiles, and lots more craziness. I was mostly put off by the lack of details in the scripts and the huge gaps which don't make sense. The season finale did manage to leave me wanting to see what happens next.

Premise:
A plane mysterious lands in New York with all the passengers dead. The Center of Disease Control is called in to investigate. The find a viral strain which turns the dead into a form of vampires, which is quickly taking over the city.With the help of an old antiques dealer, who has battled this plague before, an exterminator, and others they wage battle on the ancient force responsible.


My Take:
I have only read the first book in the Guilermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan trilogy and was fascinated by it. The series I am sort of split on. Yes, it has moments but is also big chunks of episodes lacked... something. Perhaps I just expected or wanted more.

Favorite Episode:
"Night Zero" - The series debuts packs a lot of dread and mystery into it, while giving the viewer a taste of things to come. A solid way to start off the tale.

Premise:
The apocalypse comes to the world during a party at James Franco's house and a group of celebrity friends try to survive to outcome.

My Take:
I am a fan of celebrities who poke fun of themselves and their profession, and this group does it often and well. There are lots of horror homage and a crazy amount of splatter in this over the top comedy. And cameos galore from "young Hollywood" (most getting slaughtered). Not what I expected going into the movie but was a lot of fun.

Rating: Instant Classic
