~Mind Blowing: Search for this movie immediately. It can only be described as pure greatness and possible an instant classic.

~So Good: Highly recommended because for one reason or another it stands out above the usual fair. Put the movie on your radar as it wont disappoint.

~In the Middle: The movie is a nothing special, average affair. It may entertain in the short term but it will be easily forgettable in the long haul.

~Warning: This movie is a cliched driven slop of familiar territory. Only watch if you're really of fan of this type of material.

~Steaming Pile: The movie is absolute garbage, a complete bore, and not worth the time or effort.

Premise:

My Take:
Nothing new to see here but at least the movie is done in a decent way all around.

Premise:
A weird teenager girl wants to be friends with a group popular kids. She gets a vicious prank pulled on her by them. The action causes each of the tormentors to die on their 18th birthday.

My Take:
A movie with decent scares, suspense, and supernatural reasoning. It has some faults, like zero adults throughout the movie, but overall enjoyable.

Premise:
A group of college kids get stranded on a mountain during a snowstorm. They take refuge in an abandoned mental hospital not knowing that it is home to a group of cannibals.

My Take:
The origin tale of cannibals One Eye, Saw Tooth, and Three Fingers is about what one might expect. Plenty of gore and stupidity.

Premise:
A seemingly ordinary housewife commits a violent murder one day on the beach and the local detective believes there is far more to the case then what appears.

My Take:
The story and performances are enough to get the viewer attention from the beginning. And while the story gets wrapped up rather neatly by the end it is a head scratching journey.

Rating: So Good

Premise:
Aliens launch an attack on Australia. A woman thinks they arrived because she had a close encounter as a child. So her and her friends document what's happening.

My Take:
The comedy hits more than it misses and for the most part is enjoyable.

Premise:
Two teenage girls and budding serial killers run a Twitter page about real life serial killer. They capture him and start a murder spree in their small town in order to get followers.

My Take:
A fun movie with more to say about social media celebrity than anything else. There are a lot of horror homages for horror fans.

My Take:
A movie that definitely was not what I expected, but in a very good way. It's refreshing, fun, and strange all at the same time.

Premise:
A thief who specializes in ancient artifacts finds a tomb where an Egyptian princess is buried. He unleashes the cursed mummy that wants to bring evil to the world.

My Take:
About the only interesting part of the movie is how they incorporated Dr. Jekyll into the scene. Otherwise it's a lot of Tom Cruise trying to save the day.

Premise:
Rick figures out how to lead his people once again into a war and has Dwight start training a militia. Negan does everything he can in hopes of gaining Rick's trust.

My Take:
This issue deals with the beginning of what will become the Whisperer War. The most interesting part is Negan finding a way to escape and infiltrating the Whisperers.

This movie was far more enjoyable than I anticipated.

My Take:

My Take:
Season two has a lot of twists and turns, yet it also feels like a lot of filler to get to the point of what is actually happening. Still the show remains fascinating.
