Proud to admit that I am a horror junkie.
However, my definition of what falls under the realm of horror entertainment is fairly wide. Horror is an emotion experienced differently by individuals.
These are short reviews of the movies, television series, novels, comics, albums, and any thing else which crosses my path if I feel like falls into the wide world of horror entertainment.

The Resistance is small and fleeting from the First Order. Rey searches out Luke Skywalker to help his sister Leah fight.
My Take:
The movie feels a lot like I have seen it before in the other movies in the series and a way to get the old stars out and the new ones to take over, which was bound to happen. Still I found this one enjoyable,

Season 3 is easily the best one yet as so many things laid out the last couple of years start coming together. The show is full of crazy, over the top characters and crazier situations. It's all part of the charm.

The struggles of a young Jeffery Dahmer in high school.

A group of people from the city get lost in the country and are kidnapped by a family.
My Take:
The story is simple with people being out of their element, captured, and tortured. Also there is no shortage of stupid people doing stupid things to not help their situation. The subplot about why the family is doing it is rather hard to figure out (or maybe just lost in translation).
Starring: Tobin Bell, Matt Passmore, Callum Kieth Rennie, Hannah Emily Anderson, Brittany Allen, Laura Vandervoort, Paul Braunstein
Director: Micahel Spierig, Peter Spierig
Premise:
Bodies start turning up that appear to be a copycat of the famous Jigsaw killer.
My Take:
It looks like the movie was made simply to reboot the franchise and pass the torch to a new generation Jigsaw killer. Like most of the movies, the traps are impressive but the substance is lacking.
