Willow Creek (2014)

Starring: Alexie Gilmore, Bryce Johnson
Director: Bobcat Goldthwait

Premise:
A couple shooting a documentary go to Willow Creek, the site of the famous Gimlin-Patterson bigfoot film. During the night they find out the legendary creature may be real.

My Take:
I am fan of Bobcat's dark subjects and comedy in his previous films. Unfortunately this is not anything like his previous movies and falls more into a standard found footage movie. There is a good twenty minutes of the film where the couple are inside their tent, terrified, and reacting happening around them. It was a bit much for me. However, I liked the cast and the in depth research on the subject and the area so the movie wasn't a total loss.

Rating: In the middle
