Director: Andrew Lau
Premise:
A group of young filmmakers decide to make a documentary on Old Changi Hospital, said to be one of the most haunted places on Earth. Soon the crew get more than they bargained for.
My Take:
The movie combines nice documentary style facts about this true hospital with a good fiction story. The setting is generally creepy. Many of the scares are subtle, which adds to the tension.
It's a solid outing which doesn't try to reinvent the wheel when it comes to the subgenre.
Rating: In the middle (with some upside)
