Upon trying to decipher the poem authenticity, he lead into a cult for the goddess Kali. He witnesses things he cannot explain and doesn't truly believe. But his life will never be the same.

My Take:
Dan Simmons is one of my favorite authors and this is one of the books I've been wanting to read for a long time. It does not disappoint.
There is a constant chill running throughout the entire novel as the plot slowly unwinds and gets more involved. The horrific moments here come from personal turmoil caused by the editor's desire to discover the truth.

My Take: So Good
