Starring: Frank Gifford, Kiele Sanchez, Carmen Ejogo, Zoe Soul, Zach Gilford, Michael K. Williams
Director: James DeMonaco
Premise:
The different groups of people end up on the streets on the night of the annual Purge: a cop wanting revenge on the man who killed his son, a couple who's car breaks down, and a mother and daughter who must flee their apartment once it goes under attack. They come together to try and survive the night.
My Take:
Much like the first movie I thought the story could have explored this idea far more than it does. They scratch the surface of a bigger cause and reason behind the Purge but ultimately leaves it alone. By the end it was watchable but also forgettable. Personally, I am done with the series of films.
