~Mind Blowing: Search for this movie immediately. It can only be described as pure greatness and possible an instant classic.

~So Good: Highly recommended because for one reason or another it stands out above the usual fair. Put the movie on your radar as it wont disappoint.

~In the Middle: The movie is a nothing special, average affair. It may entertain in the short term but it will be easily forgettable in the long haul.

~Warning: This movie is a cliched driven slop of familiar territory. Only watch if you're really of fan of this type of material.

~Steaming Pile: The movie is absolute garbage, a complete bore, and not worth the time or effort.

Priest (2010)

Starring: Paul Bettany, Karl Urban, Maggie Q, Christopher Plummer

Synopsis:
A band of priests vanquish the vampire clans and end an age old war. The church then makes the priests disband to led normal lives. Years later, after the word that a new vampire uprising has injured his brother and stolen his niece, a priest breaks his vow to the church and goes on the hunt again.

My Take:
I really enjoyed the first half of this hybrid horror-adventure-western saga. It had a familiar yet unique twist to the story. Then towards the end I started to get disinterested in the outcome. Maybe it was too much over the top action. At least the animation and computer effects were good.
