Snuff: A Documentary About Killing People (2008)

Snuff: a documentary about killing on camera.

Director: Paul Von Stoetzel

Synopsis:
A documentary examining the snuff film and its history in our culture. Is it a thing of myths and legends? How does the snuff film correlate with serial killers? Does horror movies and the porn industry get a bad wrap because of the idea of snuff films? Was does it say about a person who wants to watch such a movie?
All these questions and more are talked about with experts in law enforcement, academia, and the movie industry.

My Take:
A fascinating look on a very disturbing subject. At the end I did a little bit of self evaluating. Especially on how it relates to war and internet.

And to make it clear I do not ever want to see a real snuff film. Fictionalized killing in movies are fine. Real life killings on tape are bad.

Rating: So Good (because it makes you think)
