Scalene (2011)

Starring: Margo Martindale, Hanna Hall, Adam Scarimbolo
Director: Zack Parker

Premise:
The story concerning the rape of a college caregiver by a mentally disabled man told in three points of view. The caregiver, the patient, and his mother.

My Take:
This movie hit a little close to home for me. I have an elderly grandmother with dementia and I have had to take care of her and have hired a caregiver in the past. I know how a person can be treated by another person with the disease and I also know how much trust you put in a caregiver when you are not around.
With that said, the movie does a great job with the three different view points. And while the the main details solved with the allegations of the rape charge are figured out, the whole set of circumstances is not revealed. And it makes for an above average flick.

Rating: So Good
