Director: Rodrigo Gudiño
Premise:
After his estranged mother's death, a son returns home to log her many anitque relgious possesions for sale. During the coarse of the night he is haunted by memories of the past involving a religious cult and the possibility that something else is lurking in the house.
My Take:
A slow burn of a movie where everything the viewers sees is up to interpretation. Constant camera movement helps add to the suspense as does all the little things and images in the house. And when the tension escalades, then things explode. A solid debut from the film maker.
