Game of Thrones, Season 4 (2014)

Starring: Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Nikolaj Coster-Waldu, Rory McCann, Charles Dance, Aidan Gillen, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams,

Premise:
Season fours has King Joffrey marrying Margret Tyrell and still being a pompus, spoiled brat. Tyrion Lannister tried for treason. The Night's Watch trying to prevent Wildings from crossing the wall. Daenerys Targaryen marches her army, collecting more of a following until stopping after taking control of a city. Anyra Stark stays out of harms way due to her capture The Hound. Sansa Stark manages to escape to the safety of her aunt's kingdom with the helpf of Littlefinger. And Stannis Baratheon continuing to use black magic to gain his rightful claim to the throne.

My Take:
Oh my the season started out with surprises and kept right on going with more until the end. There's an epic battle between the Wildings and the Night Watch. Many epic deaths, including some major characters once again. And we start seeing some characters change and grow. The show is moving strong after four season and seems to have a lot of story left to tell.

Rating: So Good

  1. One hilarious thing is that George RR Martin meets a lot of the actors that are slated to play new seasons, and knowing that major characters die all the time, actors will say "I hope I stay alive", because they didn't take the time to read the books. Martin shakes their hands and in his mind, he probably thinks along the lines, "I'd start attending more auditions if I were you."
